Emily Granger, harp, and Emma Gerstein, flute, in recital.

The performance will include the world premiere of Australian composer, Mark Oliveiro’s Sonat Ex Domus Venus. In addition, the program will feature a wide range of works by American, Australian, and New Zealand composers as well as some lesser known works by Bernard Andres and Donizetti.

Emma currently serves as Principal Flute of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and will take up her post as Second Flute with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in September. Emily is currently working as substitute Principal Harp with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Opera Australia Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and performs throughout the US with the Chicago Harp Quartet.
