Advanced Lever Harp Class - Grades 7 and 8
Advanced Pedal Harp Class - Grades 7 and 8
First Timers Award
Fay Mills Award for Outstanding Achievement

China Crossing VI invites audiences on a journey across musical and cultural landscapes, where China–New Zealand sounds and traditions meet for an afternoon of contemporary and traditional Chinese music.

This special concert features the live concert world premiere of Cloud Drama by Chinese New Zealand composer Gao Ping, bringing together leading musicians from Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond in a rich blend of Chinese and Western instruments. Performers include Lan Weiwei (pipa), Natalia Mann (harp), Gabriela Glapska (piano) and Hsuan-Chen Lin (ruan).

Seascapes - Flute and Harp (Wellington) (20 Aug 2026)

Flautist Bridget Douglas and harpist Michelle Velvin, present a recital at Erskine Chapel, Island Bay, on Thursday, 20 August 2026.

The programme brings ocean-inspired stories to life and features works by Farr, de Castro Robinson, Takemitsu, Piazzolla and original works by Velvin.

Doors open at 6.30pm and concert commences at 7.00pm.

Presented by Liv Tennet, the voice of Kiri, this concert brings the music of one of Aotearoa’s favourite TV shows to life through the magic of orchestra. Auckland Philharmonia will perform a selection of delightful songs from the show, alongside stunning visuals from the episodes.
